Dr. Farhad Pirouzmand
Dr. Pirouzmand is Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Toronto. He has completed residency in the neurosurgery training program at the University of Toronto in 1998. He then completed a year of fellowship in skull base and reconstructive surgery and a year of fellowship in spinal trauma and peripheral nerve surgery.
Prior to his joining the neurosurgical faculty at the University of Toronto, he was the program director of Neurosurgery at the University of Saskatchewan.
Dr. Pirouzmand has completed a Masters in Epidemiology from the University of Saskatchewan. His thesis was on skull topographic organization. His main areas of interest are skull base, spine, peripheral nerve, and orbital reconstructive surgery. He is involved in coordinating clinical trials in neurosurgery at the University of Toronto.
