Dr. Mohsen Kouchakan
Dr. Kouchakan is a board certified general internist by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He received his MD degree in Tehran, Iran (1993) and practiced as a general practitioner in Tehran.
Dr. Kouchakan then completed an Internal Medicine residency at the New York Medical College (2003-2006) and an Internal Medicine fellowship at the University of Toronto, Sunnybrook Hospital in 2007.
Since 2008, Dr. Kouchakan has been an active staff in the Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario, providing Internal Medicine consultation services in the emergency room, medical wards, and urgent medicine clinic, In conjunction with that, he operates his own private medical clinic in Newmarket. He also has an interest in peri-operative consultation and cardiac stress test.
