Ophthalmology

Our ophthalmology department is divided into two categories:

1. General Ophthalmology and

2. Oculoplastic Surgery. 

The clinic accepts all referrals and they are then triaged depending on the patients’ needs and their appropriate specialty. 

Under General Ophthalmology, the services include but are not limited to:

• – Cataract Surgery
• – Pterygium Removal
• – Conjunctiva Lesions
• – Glaucoma Testing
• – Diabetes
• – Macular Degeneration
• – Retinal Pathologies
• – Dry Eye/Tearing

Grand Genesis Health greatly emphasizes the cataract department, where patients are evaluated/diagnosed and offered surgical treatment on-site. 

The Oculoplastic Surgical Department offers the following services: 

• – Nasolacrimal Duct Obstruction-Surgical Treatment: Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR)
• – Cosmetic/Dermatochalasis
• – Ptosis Repair
• – Ectropion/Entropion Repair
• – Chalazion/Cyst Removal
• – Lid Lesions
